The studio seems a lot smaller than I imagined.
Back then we’d have used real candles and there was no alcohol license but the music (and some of the jokes) were the same.
An evening of jazz, a memory of our wedding and we learned that one of the band was the model for the boy in the Ladybird books and another featured in the movie Evita with Madonna.
When she told me the cost for the crown I nearly fainted – which is a first as that usually happens when the needle appears.
I have that to look forward to next time…

With a full week in the office ahead of me I needed some new shirts which is a good excuse to get out of the house after all of the chores we managed to complete in the morning.
We’re off to the shops !

It’s been a while and I can feel the call of London pulling me back.
For now it’s been great to see Dave Holby in the town and his amazing challenge to raise money to help cure cancer.

“He’s the bloke who served us after our wedding”, said K reminding me of the last time we were here.
